James River at the Beast...

The guys had a fairly good day...

112-Dix
Dix is still alive in the consolation round, going 3-1 on the day. He had some very good wins today including one over the number eight seeded wrestler. His only loss was to Chris Keech from Caesar Rodney who placed eigth at last weeks Ironman.

119-Anongos
Jared had a rough start to the day, losing his first match to the number 10 seed (who was a stud!). He regrouped and fought back with three solid victories, also beating the eighth seed...

125-Anderson
Wyatt began the tournament with a bye and then won his next match. He dropped a match to a tough number three seed (placed 6th last year...) and then lost his next to Drew Squires from Christiansburg.

130-Nowaczyk
Patrick drew a first round bye when his opponent failed to make weight. He wrestled the number nine seed and lost, but stepped it up and really wrestled well, winning his next three matches, one of which was the number 10 seed.

Overall, I was impressed with our boys. They are handling themselves well in a tournament that is every bit as tough as people say.
