Date:
January 4-5, 2008

Format:
We will be running a round-robin style tournament with 25-30 teams.  We will start with five round-robin groups (5 teams each) and have each team wrestle the others in their group.  NEW THIS YEAR, THERE WILL BE SOME FORM OF ELIMINATION FOR ONE OR MORE TEAMS.  In order to comply with VHSL rules and have this event count as one date, we are rtequired to eliminate teams from the first day to the second. Entries:           
Each team may weigh-in a maximum of 20 wrestlers.  Wrestlers must weigh-in BOTH days and may not weigh-in at a lower weight class on the second day (example – If a wrestler weighs in at 135lbs. on Friday, they may not weigh-in at 130lbs. on Saturday).      

Weigh-ins:      
Weigh-ins will be held at James River HS on both days (see schedule for times).  Teams that are traveling will be allowed time to check weight before they weigh-in.  Any team wrestling Thursday night must inform Coach Helberg NO LATER than Friday, December 21, 2007.

Awards:          
Plaques (trophies) for the top three teams and 20 individual medals (trophies) for each team.
